What does that mean? We have all heard it. In business and in life.
My experience is that “a change in direction” is the biggest throw away line that I have ever heard. It is meant to end the conversation with no further explanation. No insight. No further action plan. A dead fish.
If you hear, “a change in direction,” you need to know how much to push for clarification. You may or may not get it. If you use, “a change in direction,” you need to know that you are saying, and how you will be judged by the easy exit and ask no questions ramifications.
In today’s intense and pressure packed world, use these word wisely. You will be judged by them.
We all deserve a straight story. If you need help with your story, we should talk.
